My name is Kyle. I'm the director of business operations at Genesis Telecommunication Laboratories. Genesis is a global leader in contact center and customer experience software. Our mission is to make sure that our customers can provide the best experience for their customers using our technology. As the director of business operations, it's my job to ensure that for one of our three product lines that we're executing on the vision and the strategy of the product. And be that bringing together people from different parts of the business, be that looking at the analytics and data to measure our performance, or to be on the cutting edge from a product perspective so that we are offering the best product possible to our customers. All functions of the business have to be part of what we do in bringing people together and making sure, like I said, that we're offering the best possible solution for our customers. It's very uncommon that I have one week where I'm just working with marketing, or I'm just working with sales. What's really cool is that in any given day, I have a meeting with our sales group to look at what the pipeline looks like, to bring in new business. I'm also meeting with our product group to make sure, again, that we're ahead of the technology curve and offering the best solution. And then I'm in a meeting with our finance group to make sure that we're hitting our goals from a revenue projection standpoint and from a profit and loss perspective. So the ability to kind of jump in between all of those different groups to have any day where I might come in and have to do something new is really exciting. It's one of the coolest parts of the job, actually. One of the thing we did recently was just put together what our strategy is going to be for the entire year. So again, we were looking at how was our performance in the past, we were looking at what our goals are gonna be. Be that from the executive group or just the own goals that we put together for ourselves, and so once we know what those goals are, and we know how we're gonna measure those goals, it's really my job to figure out, okay, how are we gonna go accomplish this strategy? What things do we need to go get done? By when do we need to go get them done? Who do we have to bring together to do that? And what are the challenges going to be, and how do we foresee some of those challenges so that we can, like I said, reach our goals? So putting together that strategy for the year, and then along the year, making sure we're executing on that is a lot of fun, and it keeps me busy every single day.
