>> My name is Carl Williams. And, I'm a digital marketing consultant for music artists and small businesses. I also produce two podcasts that are distributed through iTunes and Google Play Music. The first step, really, is listening to the clients' needs and desires. What do they want to accomplish? Is it website related? Is it social media related? Is it understanding their analytics better so that they can make better decisions? So, for different clients, there are definitely different needs. And, it's just a matter of, like, in the beginning, just asking lots of questions and listening to those real important needs. And then, once you assess what the needs are, just figuring out a game plan, as far as execution. A lot of folks are trying to define themselves as brands now. And, one of the ways that folks are doing that are through podcasts. So, I'm kind of helping folks figure out the content that they can add to their podcast, as far as -- are they going to talk about their real life? Are they going to talk about things that they like to do? Their hobbies? Behind the scenes? Them on tour? And then, looking at the results of those numbers and making better decisions for future episodes. In the digital world, most of the day -- like a lot of folks, it's following up with emails. It's talking to folks via phone. It's talking to folks via video, Google Hangouts, Skype. It's actual face-to-face meetings. It's actual traveling, too, to meet with clients. It could be in L.A. It could be Nashville. It could be in New York. Most of the actual execution, as far as, like -- because I do coding also, too. And, you have to take content, put it on servers, and all of that -- it's done at nighttime.
